Nothing says America like a pickup truck. This Independence Day, celebrate the independence your truck gives you and America’s birthday by driving to some great events in and around Seattle.
A Family-Friendly Fourth in Renton
The trip to Renton is worth it, even if it’s a bit cramped in the cab of your truck. You can play beach volleyball while your kids bounce on inflatables and get their face painted in the KidZone. Live music and other stage entertainment will be happening all afternoon. At dusk, you can sit in your truck bed and watch the fireworks display over Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park.
Take Your Truck to Kenmore
You’ll have all day to relax and still make it to Kenmore in time to grab some dinner from the food vendors and pick a spot to watch the fireworks show. Load a blanket or chairs in the bed of your truck before you head out. Then watch the Kenmore fireworks show over Log Boom Park.
Kids Come First in SeaTac
We know your kids come first with you too. They’ll love the ride in your truck and they’ll have a blast at the carnival events in SeaTac before the fireworks show. When they get hot, there’s a spray park. Live music goes on stage at 1pm and continues until the fireworks show at 10pm. Grab your blanket or chairs before you park your truck and take a stroll to Angle Lake Park for all the events.
Take Your Pickup to Bainbridge Island
Bainbridge Island is the perfect place for a pickup ride. Once you’re there, the July 4th celebrations speak to the heart of America the same way your truck does. Classic cars, a beer garden and family-friendly activities are just a few of the reasons to take your truck to Bainbridge Island this Independence Day.
From all of us at Sunset Truck, we wish you and your family a safe and happy Independence Day weekend!
