What kind of features does a used Wrangler offer?
A used Wrangler comes in two body styles: the two-door and the four-door Unlimited. This review will be focusing on the two-door, four-passenger Wrangler. You’ll typically find the two-door models in one of three trim levels: Sport, Sahara, and the Rubicon! Standard features generally include an auxiliary audio jack, an eight-speaker sound system with a CD player, a one-piece fold and tumble forward backseat, a tilt-only steering wheel, cloth upholstery, a height-adjustable driver seat, and cruise control. As well as crank windows, full metal doors, manual mirrors and locks, a fold-down windshield, removable door, fog lamps. Tow hooks, skid plates, a full-size spare tire, on/off road tires, and 16-inch steel wheels. For more advanced features, keep an eye out for a higher trim level. Those features typically include automatic headlamps, leather-wrapped steering wheel, hood insulation for reduced noise, electronic front and rear locking differentials, rock rails, an upgrade transfer case with a lower crawl ratio, and coat hooks. There are so many more features available for the used Wrangler thanks to tons of special editions and packages so keep your eyes peeled!
What are the powertrian options in a used Wrangler?
Typically every used Jeep Wrangler will feature a 3.6-liter V6 underneath the hood. This engine delivers incredible power, cranking out 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Four-wheel drive is standard on all models and the system comes equipped with low- and high-range gearing. Rubicon models gain an upgraded transfer case, uniquely short gearing, and extra-low crawl ratio. There are two transmission options to match this engine. The first is a six-speed manual with hill start assist and the second is a five-speed automatic. A used Wrangler typically maxes out at 2,000 pounds when it comes to towing. A used Wrangler averages 18 mpg combined with both transmission options.
What kind of safety can a used Wrangler provide?
No matter where you travel, from the highway to the trails, the Wrangler is ready to protect all the passengers inside in the event of an accident. This is thanks to an incredible list of advanced features installed throughout the SUV. Some of those features typically include traction and stability control, anti-lock brakes, and front airbags. There are more advanced features available with higher trim levels.
