Which features come standard for safety?
Standard on every trim of the Nissan Titan is antilock disc brakes, full-length side curtain airbags, stability and traction control, hill start assist, and front-side airbags. The Pro-4X trim also includes hill descent control, while the SV trim adds trailer sway control. From the Pro-4X trim and upwards safety features like rear-cross traffic alert, rear view camera, and a blind-spot monitoring system come included. At the top of the trim levels, the SL and Platinum Reserve come with a NissanConnect Services that provides stolen-vehicle recovery assistance, automatic crash notification, and roadside assistance.
How many trim levels are there?
The base S trim comes with remote locking and unlocking, air-conditioning, Bluetooth, an auxiliary input, a lockable damped tailgate, cloth upholstery, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, power windows and locks, an active grille shutter, and cab-mounted LED bed lights. The next trim is the SV with chrome exterior trim, carpeted flooring, trailer sway control, satellite radio, power-adjustable heated mirrors, and a driver information display. The Pro-4X trim adds to the SV with off-road-tuned Bilstein shocks, hill descent control, fog lights, a lockable rear differential, all-terrain tires, automatic wipers, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, voice controls, a navigation system, dual-zone automatic climate control, a spray-in bedliner, and a rear air vent. The SL trim adds to the Pro-4X with less off-roading features, but extra luxury in its running boards, remote engine start, LED cargo box lighting, front and rear parking sensors, heated front seats, power-sliding window, auto-dimming rearview mirror, leather upholstery, and a 120-volt outlet in the bed. Lastly, the Platinum Reserve tops the lineup with additional dark chrome exterior, heated steering wheel with wood inserts, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, upgraded leather upholstery, and a 360-degree parking camera.
Which engines are available?
The Nissan Titan comes with a 5.6-liter V8 with 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque. For a diesel engine, the Titan XD comes with a 5-liter Cummins V8 with a seven-speed automatic transmission and the option of rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. This engine gets 390 horsepower as well. The Titan has a maximum tow rating of 9,390 pounds and the EPA fuel economy rating of 21 miles per gallon.
